v0.9.8 with custom carousel names and widgets

Version 0.9.8 is out on the market and introduces two new features:

Custom carousel names: You can name your carousel according to its content (“Frequently called” “Favorite apps”, “Work stuff”, etc.).
Showing / Hiding the carousel names is configurable (Menu -> Settings -> Show carousel names)

Quick launch widgets: Place widgets on your home screen to launch specific carousels. When the widget is added, a configuration screen is opened, that lets you choose the target carousel for the widget. If you’re thinking that this is not necessary, after all, there are only two carousels, think forward, UltimateFavesPRO is coming soon, with a lot more carousels!

      Hi Oleg!
I’m sure you’ll enjoy your new HTC Hero, I wanted to put my hands on one for a long time, but it didn’t work out (I have a Magic for now). Make sure you get the new firmware upgrade though, to improve performance, otherwise the Hero can be quite laggy, also make sure you use a SDHC class 6 sdcard to improve performance even more.

Oh, and enjoy my app 🙂 send me any comments / problems / thoughts / feature requests. A new and much improved version is coming in about 3 weeks!

I was looking at this, and it might be something I would like. So thought i would try the free version first. How ever I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Slideme.org seems to have “issues” with their web site, and their SAM can’t find it. Why don’t you have a link here to D/L the free version to try? Or if you do, at least make it easier to find?

    • Lior Gonnen says:

You can find the free version simply by searching for ‘UltimateFaves’ on the Android market, or on AndAppStore.com
I’ll add a QR-code to the blog soon, to make it easier to find.
